New Lots and Williams, 1955

I recently paid a visit to this corner. None of the structures you see in this photo are there anymore. That's New Lots Avenue running horizontally in the background, and you're looking up Williams Avenue. The box I'm playing on is where Isaac the grocer stored his milk on huge blocks of ice. The window behind me is part of Red's toy store, where I purchased all my "Spauldeens" as well as my school supplies.
